Das Projekt entwickelt einen Designprozess, der Experimente zur Roboterfertigung oder digitalen Fabrikation mit den Parametern Code (Software), Werkzeug (Hardware) und Material ermöglicht. Ziel ist es, durch die experimentellen Reihen Kontrolle über das komplexe Zusammenspiel der Parameter zu gewinnen. In Anlehnung an Distributed Manufacturing ergeben sich daraus Möglichkeiten der Reproduktion eines Experiments sowie generative Fertigungsprozesse für lokale Produktionen.

 

The project develops a design process that enables experiments on robotic manufacturing or digital fabrication with the parameters of code (software), tool (hardware) and material. The goal is to gain control over the complex interaction of the parameters through the experimental series. Following Distributed Manufacturing, this leads to possibilities of reproducing an experiment as well as generative manufacturing processes for local productions.
